2015 Clarence Food Pantry-Community Service

One of the 12 Points of the Scout Law:

A Scout is Helpful: A Scout volunteers to help others without expecting a reward.

Pack 93 has been supporting the Clarence Food Pantry since 2011 and this year was another great learning experience for all of the Dens.

Jim Owen of the Clarence Food Pantry shared the importance of these types of local facilities and that this pantry helps approx 75 households in the Clarence area.

Jim was very impressed with the amount  of food that the Boys collected from their neighborhoods and was appreciative of the support.

Great Job Pack 93!

Clarence Cubscout Jamboree 2015

On October 3rd and 4th  Harris Hill Cub Pack 93 participated in the second annual Clarence Cub Scout Jamboree which took place in Clarence Town Park.

There were several stations that the boys participated in:  First Aid, Knot Tying, Arrow Making, Orienteering, Kickball, Skits and and new Addition this year…  The  Hawk Creek Wildlife Center did a Presentation where the campers all learned about several animals and their habitat.

Another great turnout from all of the Clarence Cub Packs and a large number of campers who spent the night under the stars in the main field.

Clarence Bee Write Up- Second Annual Jamboree

A big thanks to the Clarence Boy Scouts as they ran all of the stations for the cubs  and the boys got a glimpse into what their Scout career can evolve into.  What a great time and we all appreciate  the efforts by the volunteers who organized this fun weekend… this work  can be seen in photo after photo of wide eyes and smiles of area Cubscouts.

Pack 93 held an awards ceremony on April 26th at Clarence United Methodist Church. In addition to awards, a catered dinner, and skits performed by the scouts. All levels of boys advanced to the next rank but we especially celebrated the achievements of our Webelos 2 scouts. Every one of them worked hard to fulfill the requirements as an Arrow of Light scout, which is the highest achievement that Cub Scouts awards. Please join us in congratulating: Owen Cummins, Zackary Dicey, Andrew Heckman, Calvin Hunt, Andrew Obregon, Joshua Scherer, Dante Sciolino, Charlie Sickau and Jonathan Zak.
